A Rush quote about Obama

"This was never about economics, not principally. It's about "social justice." His education plan is "Maoist (no surprise given the Ayers/Klonsky influence), and he is otherwise a Bolshevik. I'm also quite sure, given his character traits, that he would be a Stalinist if he thought he could get away with it ... and he's working on that, too. I wonder what the country will look like in his 10th or 15th year as president?"

Allen a dit…

I'm really put off by the hysteria of the ideologues of the left and the right. Obama is left of center, but that doesn't make him a Maoist or Stalinist. I have no fear of being sent to a "re-education" camp if I disagree with any of his policies. And I'm sorry, Bush wasn't the second-coming of Hitler trying to install a new Reich in the U.S. and take over the world. I called him an idiot many times during his presidency, but I had no fear because I knew he was looking for and fighting actual terrorists--not looking for liberals to throw in jail just because they hated him. There are so many people in this country who just need to grow up. You make a good point that if people in this country feel oppressed they should try life out in a truly totalitarian country. As the 2006 and 2008 elections showed, if your party screws up bad enough, the free people of this country will vote you out. The same will happen to Obama if his policies end up being disastrous. Meanwhile, the citizens of countries like Rwanda, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, etc. have no freedom to do anything about the dictators that oppress them.
